Art cartel

about the project

ART CARTEL IS A FORM OF JOINT STUDY OF SUBJECTS OF INTEREST. WITHOUT A TEACHER AND A DOMINANT POINT OF VIEW, THE ONLY CORRECT POINT OF VIEW.

In a small group format of 8-10 people, we independently study the material and discuss it in online meetings.

We search for information together and communicate a lot. We discover completely different points of view and approaches to understanding. We discuss, sometimes argue, developing new associative connections, mastering the conceptual apparatus and critical thinking.

KEY MANIFESTO OF THE ART CARTEL: THE PRIORITY OF DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW

Art cartel is a form of joint work on self-education. In small groups of 8-10 people, “cartelians” build a program of topics of interest in the format of discussions and conversations.
Participation in a cartel involves extensive work on preparing reports, compact presentation, and preparing your own speech. In this way, it is possible to protect discussions from reactive and affective statements.
The cartel is dominated by horizontal connections and there is no position at the top, the one who knows best. One’s own point of view is formed in the process of mastering different, often opposite and controversial things.
The work of the cartel is structured by a leader who plans an even order of speeches and performs organizing and secretarial functions.
